• Summer Reading

  • Our goal at the Brigantine Public School District is to promote a love of reading in our scholars. Although there are no required assignments, we encourage students to read over the summer when possible. To assist you in selecting reading materials appropriate for your child's grade/reading level, lists of books on varying topics and interests have been provided below. Any books read can be recorded on the reading log below and submitted to your child's teacher in September. These books may be read alone or could be enjoyed together with an adult.

In addition to these lists and the reading log provided, the Atlantic County Library eBook and Audiobook System holds some fantastic books to enjoy with your child. These books have technology help options and dual language opportunities that the Atlantic County Library can assist you with. We hope you have a great summer and enjoy these opportunities for academic engagement with your child.

Reading Resources:

  • Mathematics

  • The mathematics programs we offer at the Brigantine Community School are adaptive and individualized to each and every scholar. With the wide range of learning games available, scholars maintain engagement and excitement while practicing foundational mathematics skills. Utilizing our mathematics summer opportunity programs at home is enjoyable and stress-free for our families. These adaptive learning programs cater to our scholars' learning needs, strengthen their skills, and help maintain fluency goals. Our mathematics team wishes our scholars an enjoyable summer and looks forward to welcoming them back in September. Click on the images below to open the login page for each program.
